Our Mission

The Capital Region Prayer and Healing Center is an expression of the Body of Christ called to facilitate transformation of the West Hill neighborhood, the City of Albany, the Capital Region and beyond.

Our Vision

Facilitating prayer by:

1) providing a facility in which believers in Jesus pray, intercede and worship , seeking God 24/7, for revival of the Church and transformation of our society.
2) seeking out, promoting, coordinating, encouraging, and training Christian believers to do the foundational prayer work and spiritual warfare for transformation.
3) proactively networking with other praying groups on the regional, state, national, and international levels to encourage greater prayer.
4) promoting, organizing and conducting prayer walks focused on the transformation of our neighborhood/city/region.
5) providing a clearinghouse for the prayer needs of the Church of the Capital Region.

Facilitating healing by:

1) providing a facility where Christ-centered, medical practitioners can conduct their ministries, especially those with a vision to care for the poor.
2) providing healing rooms in which concentrated, fervent prayer for the sick is ministered.
3) providing training programs which equip individuals to minister healing and deliverance.
4) proactively networking with others concerned with healing on the regional, state, national, and international levels to encourage the healing ministry.

Facilitate transformational leadership by:

1) developing and implementing a school of ministry to train Christians to be agents of transformation throughout society.
2) providing ministry internships and educational experiences designed to impart, encourage, and launch the next generation into effective ministry.
3) organizing and participating in conferences, seminars, and forums which provide encouragement and training to individual believers.

Facilitating unity by:

1) networking with local churches and Christian ministries and community agencies to encourage the sharing of resources to further the Kingdom of God.
2) proactively promoting unity within the Body of Christ by facilitating establishment of local Pastor and leader prayer groups, interdenominational work projects, and corporate gatherings.
3) co-laboring with community agencies to provide improvement of the quality of life in the West Hill community.
4) providing prayer support and encouragement to other groups or individuals who have a vision for transformation.
